I'm 18 years old and have been with Crush House for 2 years. I've always loved and enjoyed singing and just being able to run the show. Along with loving to sing, I also enjoy family and shopping as well.
In my two years with CHE, I have gotten to experience many different times of collaborating with different artists and producers and being able to feel all the power and positive energy just flow in one room, and that is what I live for.
I have competed in hip-hop (dance) for several years and have also won some modeling contests.
My mom, Hilary and vocal coach, Jeb have really influenced me in not only my singing but also outside of that. My mom is really supportive of my music and is obviously with me every step with whatever comes my way. Jeb is also a great influence, pushing me to better myself inside and outside my music.
Every since the beginning of his existence, born Jamaris Earl Tubbs on March 31, 1985; he was always a child of fine art growing up. Fascinated in anything to do with creativity, he constantly expressed himself through avenues such as music, fashion, poetry, art, skating, and etc.
Presenting him with such southern flavor, the Georgia native grew up listening to hip hop as early as age 5, producing an eternal love for it to a place where he can’t resist it.
Spending a great deal of his life on the move, residing in other cities and states like Flint, MI and Fort Wayne, IN, he grown a taste for several styles and cultures, creating a style for himself that wasn’t a typical sound, separating himself from others that were trying to be part of the hip hop community.
Dubbed “Smooth” by people, J Tubbs is known by his mind-blowing metaphoric floetry mixed with a twist of suave flow and his dirty south mouthpiece which brings another level to being crunk and yet still having his cool, charming presence with such persuasion of drawing in a universal audience with his widespread appeal.
Influenced by heavyweight artists such as T.I., Ludacris, Lil’ Wayne, and Outkast, J Tubbs found it only right to be a individual and not a “industry clone” to the world of music, seeing that individualism is everything in being a true entertainer. So with that being said, J Tubbs quite frankly has a style that is unforgettable and pretty much going to, if not already, change the world of hip hop music and culture. From all avenues from artistry, music production, to DJ, yes J. Tubbs is on the makings of a great icon.
